We decided to present them , just because we admire them, although they are not european.
She was an airplane pilot who won the title of fastest aviator in the world against Jacqueline Auriol. She was the first woman to succeed landing without visibility. She was also the first person to cross the sound barrier in a production unit and she beat the speed record held by Jacqueline Auriol flying at 1 050 km / h. She was born on May 11th , 1906 in Florida and she died in August 9th 1980 in California.
