The European union

The European Union is the voluntary association of European States, in the economical and political domains, to assure the preservation of peace in Europe and favour the economical and social progress.
The European Union is composed of twenty-eight countries.
- It has a blue flag with twelve stars which represent the first twelve countries of the E-U.
- It has a hymn composed by Ludwig van Beethoven: Ode to Joy.
- Eighteen countries out of twenty-eight use the Euro, the official currency of the European Union.
- The most populated country is Germany with eighty two million inhabitants and the smallest is the island of Malta.

It's not easy for each country because they all want to keep their own identity but I am certain that country will find an interest in joining the European Union.
